Soccer

SFX Youth Soccer for Kids Ages 4 – 13

Since 1984, SFX Soccer has been dedicated to fostering good sportsmanship while teaching the game of soccer. Our volunteer coaches provide positive instruction while providing a fun, safe environment that builds community and teamwork around soccer.

The schedules are finalized sometime in early September and available before the season begins on September 12th. Games and practices are combined in one time slot on Saturday mornings at either 9am or 10:30am and will go through mid-November. They will all be in Prospect Park at Long Meadow Ballfields.

Teams are not expected to do a weekday practice, since there will be practice time reserved for each team prior to their game. If a coach chooses to hold a midweek practice, that’s ok, but certainly not required.

Players will be given a uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks) but should get cleats or sneakers and must bring and wear their own shin guards.

You can make teammate- and/or player-requests when you register, so please don’t hesitate to organize among your children’s friends! But keep in mind that depending upon the division we have 8/12 players max on each team.
